With much anticipation, we’ve launched the 7shifts mobile app! This is a web-based app and works on the iPhone 3.0+, Android 2.1+ and Blackberry 6.0+.

How can I access it?

You can access the site the same way you would access your own account in the browser. You typically login to your account at http://yourcompany.7shifts.com. Now if you try and go to that site on your mobile device, you will have an option to login to the mobile version. See screenshot below.

When an employer logs in, he or she will see an overview of who’s working that day. This is the same information you would get if you logged into your account on a desktop. If you are logging in as an employee, you will be able to see whether or not you work that day.

Just like the website, you can view different schedule types (if you’ve created them).

As an employer and an employee, you can also view upcoming schedules.

Writing and viewing the wall has never been so convenient.

You might have noticed that we forgot one major component to this mobile app – the shift pool. Don’t worry though, we are going to be including the shift pool soon. We just wanted to get something launched so that at the very least, people could check their schedules easier.
