We’re proud to announce the ability to schedule multiple shifts per day. No more trying to squeeze in multiple shifts separated by a comma into one shift slot.

Here is what it looks like to schedule multiple shifts. Add and remove as many shifts as necessary. The red buttons denote “unavailable”. Just like the old shift slots, hovering over them will give a popup availability message (if there is one).

This also allows for a more flexible Shift Pool. The original Shift Pool only allowed employees to take a shift if they didn’t work that day. Employees can now request to take shifts without any kind of restriction. Employees will also be warned if they try to take a shift that conflicts with one they’re already scheduled for.

We also had some requests to view shifts that employees put up for grabs. We’ve added that as well. If an employee puts one of their shifts into the shift pool, it will now show up under the employer area. This will allow employers to make prompt changes to the schedule instead of waiting for someone else to take the shift.
